For more than 30 years I have worked with homes from historic pre-1900 properties to today's most sophisticated new construction.As a Lake Minnetonka resident, I understand the opportunities and challenges associated with owning, maintaining, and improving significant residential properties.MERV was created to offer homeowners independent, trusted guidance based on experience, logic, and long-term thinking.Some clients seek an opinion on a specific issue. Others engage MERV throughout a major project. I believe homeowners should be free to obtain assistance when they need it rather than commit to services they may not need. For that reason, MERV does not require ongoing contracts or monthly fees.

MERV works exclusively for homeowners.Unlike architects, contractors, inspectors, and appraisers, we are not hired to sell a design, perform construction, or deliver a transaction. Our role is to represent the interests of the homeowner.Common Situations for MERV Clients:
